DWIM Logic presents
Drop in your footage and tell us what you need. Get a free estimate, prepay the hours, and review every version in your browser. Every message and note stays logged in one private project. Want to watch it get cut? Book a supervised live session in your Resolve library at no extra cost.
Senior producer on every job · Supervised or unsupervised. Delivered as a DaVinci Resolve project or XML, plus final renders.
How it works
You read this in under a minute. The job runs the same way every time.
Upload footage or paste a transfer link. Describe the job, the length and where it is going.
You see a rough range straight away. A senior editor confirms it, usually within a working day.
Pick a pack of hours, at least enough to start the job. Work stops when they run out, so the bill never runs past what you approved.
Every message, estimate, payment and hour logged is kept in one thread. No lost emails.
Each version plays right here. Pause, leave a note pinned to the frame, approve or ask for changes.
When the hours are used, top up, keep everything with an archive subscription, or let the files go and start fresh later.
Free estimate
A rough range in ten seconds. Start the project and a senior editor confirms it before anything is charged.
Estimated editing time
Preliminary. Your confirmed estimate arrives in the project, usually within a working day.
Prepaid hours
Your estimate tells you the smallest pack that gets the job started. Every quarter hour the editor logs shows up in your project with what it was for.
Hours are logged in quarter-hour steps. Top up any time.
Review and delivery
No more “at about the one minute mark” emails. Notes land on the exact frame, and the editor marks them resolved in the next version.
Who cuts it
DWIM Logic pairs thirty years of production and post with an AI editing agent that works in DaVinci Resolve. The agent reads your brief, the full message thread and your notes, then cuts and posts the version back to your project. A senior producer at DWIM Logic sets the direction and answers for the result.
That is how the turnaround stays fast and the hours stay low, without the cut looking like nobody finished it.
When the hours run out
Simple storage rules, written down before you pay.
For $19 a month per project, the project files, every render and the final deliverables stay stored for as long as the subscription is active. Cancel any time.
Your original footage is removed once it has not been used for 30 days, with or without an archive. You get a reminder first, and you still have your own copy.
If the hours are used and you decline the archive, project files are removed after a short download window. The message log and hour ledger stay, and you can start a new project any time.
Buy another pack of hours and the project picks up where it left off, with every version and note still in place.
Session mode
Both are included with any hour pack at the same rate. Supervised costs nothing extra, and hours burn the same either way. Delivered as a DaVinci Resolve project or XML, plus final renders.
We edit on our own and post rendered versions to your project. You leave timestamped notes right on the video, and we work through them.
Book a live session. Invite DWIM Logic into your shared Blackmagic Cloud / DaVinci Resolve project library, or join a screen-share link we send, and direct the edit in real time.
Session time comes out of the same prepaid hours at the same rate. The editor logs it in your ledger like any other work.
Start async and book a live session for the final grade, or the other way round. Pick a mode when you start, change it whenever you like.
Questions
Final renders are always included, to the spec you set (resolution, frame rate, captions). You also pick the timeline handoff when you start a project: a DaVinci Resolve project (.drp) or an XML timeline. You can change it later, and every version and deliverable shows which format comes with it.
No. Supervised and unsupervised are included with any hour pack at the same rate. Hours burn the same either way, and every session shows up in your hour ledger.
Request a session in your project with a few preferred times and your time zone. We confirm one and add the join link: an invite into your Blackmagic Cloud / DaVinci Resolve project library, or a live screen-share. You watch the timeline get built and direct in real time.
Yes. You describe the job, we reply with a range of hours and the smallest pack that starts it. Nothing is charged until you choose a pack.
The editor stops before the balance runs out and tells you in the project thread. You top up, or you take what has been delivered so far.
Large uploads go straight to storage. For very big shoots, paste a transfer link from WeTransfer, Frame.io, Dropbox or Google Drive instead.
You, and the DWIM Logic team working on it. You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email, and each project is visible only to the client who opened it.
